Zeus

Zeus is a 7-year-old male Labrador Retriever Cross. He is neutered and has a calm, affectionate nature that shines through in his interactions with people. Zeus has clearly not let his past experiences dull his love for human company. Zeus has spent five long years living in a kennel environment. During this time, he has watched other dogs leave while he remains behind, walking the same familiar steps each day. Despite this, he continues to show warmth and gentleness towards those around him. Zeus was sadly abandoned on a highway before finding safety. Even after this difficult start, he remains friendly, trusting, and eager to connect with people. He leans into affection and clearly values close human contact. Zeus  can live with friendly dogs and would do best alongside a female dog. He can also live with teenage-aged children, making him suitable for a family with older kids. His social nature means he enjoys companionship rather than being alone. Zeus can live with cats if they are carefully introduced and given time to settle together. He is active, keen to learn, and still full of life despite his years in kennels. Zeus is still waiting for someone to choose him and give him the home he continues to hope for.
