Bruce

Bruce is a 5-year-old male French Bulldog. He’s currently in foster care after being removed from a tough situation—his previous owner was unwell and Bruce ended up spending most of his days shut out in the garden while carers were inside. Despite this, he’s maintained a friendly nature and still has that cheeky spark typical of the breed. He walks really nicely on the lead and is very sociable with other dogs. In fact, he might be too sociable—he’s been a bit obsessive with the other dogs in his current foster home, to the point where one of them is now avoiding him. Because of this, Bruce really needs a new foster or forever home where he can have more balance and calm, ideally with someone who knows the quirks of French Bulldogs and can help him channel that energy the right way. Bruce is not yet neutered, though it’s already booked in. Any dogs in his new home would need to be neutered due to his current behaviour. He’s not a candidate for homes with cats or children, so an adult-only, pet-savvy environment will be best for this chunky little lad. With the right setup and some patient guidance, Bruce will thrive and bring a lot of love (and probably snorts) into someone’s life.
