Cassie

Cassie is a real love bug. She can be a little shy at first, but it doesn’t take her long to come out of her shell. Once she feels comfortable, she’ll happily roll onto her back for tummy rubs and soak up all the affection she can get. Her absolute favourite thing in the world is toys. Cassie loves collecting them and keeping them safe, which means she prefers not to share them with other dogs or people. Cassie loves being around other dogs and has happily co-habited with them at the rescue, so living with another dog could be possible with the right match. However, care will need to be taken around toys and attention from people, as she can become a little jealous at times. It will be important to find a companion who complements her well and for introductions to be managed thoughtfully. She has also shown potential to live with cats. Cassie really enjoys having lots of fuss from her people – she’s a bit of a diva and loves being the centre of attention. Cassie would benefit from a home with someone around for most of the day and she would love a secure garden to run around in. She can be a little unsure on walks and is nervous travelling in the car so needs patience whilst she builds confidence in these areas. In the home she is quiet, beautifully behaved and playful, making her a lovely companion to have around. She is looking for a sensible home where clear boundaries can be put in place around toys. With the right family, Cassie will make a truly wonderful and devoted companion.
