Smokie is a beautiful 11 year old Akita with a gentle soul, looking for a loving home to spend her golden years in comfort and peace. After a lifetime of companionship, she deserves a quiet place to call her own — somewhere she can truly relax, feel safe, and be cherished. She still enjoys her daily walks, happily plodding along and taking her time to sniff and explore her environment. While toys aren’t really her thing anymore, Smokie’s eyes still light up for a tasty treat or a special snack — the quickest way to her heart! Smokie could potentially live with a calm well- matched dog following a successful introduction at the centre, and can live with children aged 11 and over who can respect her relaxed nature.
