But since becoming a little “office dog,” he has grown in confidence every day and is beginning to enjoy life and human company. He is now happy to be picked up and handled with no signs of aggression — just a sensitive soul learning to trust. Good with other dogs, particularly enjoys the company of female dogs Already doing his toileting outside, so with routine he should pick up house training quickly Still building confidence but making lovely progress An adult-only home or one with older, sensible children A calm, patient family willing to let him settle at his own pace A secure, enclosed garden to safely support his early training Owners committed to lead training (he hasn’t yet been on a lead) A home ready to offer reassurance, guidance, and gentle encouragement Baxter will need time to adjust to a new environment, but with kindness and consistency, he will continue to grow into a wonderful companion.
