Drew

Drew is an 18 month old staffy cross cane Corso who we took in a few days ago. He is stunning!! He’s a big lad (weighing 33kg) and needs a home with large breed experience and the commitment to such a young and giddy boy. Today he’s been to the vets for his vaccination and been an absolute gem. He’s travelled well in the car, loved everyone at the vets and enjoyed a wonderful walk (as well as giving a million kisses to his chauffeurs!). He’s met other dogs and been fine with them so we would consider a home with a friendly speyed female or possibly an older neutered male (having two teenage males is not usually a recommended idea). He’s not been around cats so no cats. And a home with respectful older kids 10+ who are used to large breed dogs. He has been a delight with everyone he has met and ever enjoyed a good brush from the kennel staff. He will need a home where he will get plenty of exercise and won’t be left for too long given his age as well as a secure garden for him to play in. He’s strong on his lead initially but does settle and then wants to sniff and snuffle. He needs someone committed to his training and the fact he may go through his terrible twos! Forever homes can be anywhere within the UK but you will need to travel to meet him in West Yorkshire. As always we require everyone in the family and any children who are regularly going to be in contact with the dog to attend the meet. If you are suited we will then arrange a homecheck, vet reference and meet with the dog.
