Mak

Mak is a large mixed-breed around 10–11 years old. Mak is a goofy, lanky, slightly clumsy sweetheart with a heart as big as his paws. He is full of charm and character — the kind of dog who runs like Bambi and greets his walker with a big smile. His whole body wiggles when he wags his tail, and he is always ready to roll over for a belly rub. He bonds deeply with his people and thrives on affection and attention. Mak is great with dogs of all shapes and sizes, although he prefers calmer companions rather than very excitable puppies. He can live happily as an only dog or with a laid-back canine friend. Mak is gentle around children and other animals. However, due to his size and enthusiasm, he would be best suited to a home with children aged 10 years and over. He is instantly comfortable with women and warms up to men with a little time and patience — food is very much the way to his heart. Mak is fully housetrained and walks well on lead. He knows basic commands such as “down,” “paw,” and “wait.” He behaves well at the groomers and vets and can be left alone without issue. Despite his age, Mak has the energy of a younger dog. He enjoys his walks, garden zoomies, and relaxing outdoors.
