Monty

Monty is a 5-year-old male Cross-Breed. He is described as a medium-sized dog and is currently in foster care in Hartlepool. He arrived in the UK in September 2025 after spending three years in Romanian foster kennels. When Monty first arrived, he was very nervous and shy in his new surroundings. Since then, he has grown greatly in confidence and has shown himself to be a wonderful and loving dog. He is now ready to find a caring and permanent home of his own. Monty is a very cuddly dog who forms strong bonds once he learns to trust someone. He is described as having a soft nature and being full of love. He is especially affectionate with people he knows well. He walks nicely on a lead, which helps make his daily exercise more manageable. Although he has made great progress, he can still be nervous when meeting new people and dogs while out on walks. Monty is good with other dogs and enjoys their company. He has not been tested with cats, and he has also not been tested with children. Any introductions in these areas would need to be handled carefully and thoughtfully.
