Erica

Erica is a medium-sized cross-breed around 2 years old. Erica is fostered in Lincolnshire and has settled beautifully into her foster home. She is a gentle, affectionate young dog with a naturally calm temperament and a strong bond with her people. She loves human company and greets new friends with a wagging tail and enthusiastic kisses. Erica enjoys strokes, brushing, and especially head and chin scratches — and she will politely nudge you if you stop fussing too soon. She thrives on attention and would be happiest in a home where she can be the centre of her person’s world. Erica is currently living with large dogs and mixes well with them. However, she can become a little protective of her humans if another dog approaches during fuss time. For this reason, she would likely flourish as the only dog in the home where she can enjoy undivided attention. She has not been cat tested. She has shown no interest in chickens or horses. Erica is fully housetrained. She wears a collar, harness, and lead without issue and walks nicely. She travels well on short car journeys, although she can be hesitant getting into the vehicle and may try to slip out when exiting, so care is needed. Erica will need access to a secure garden where she can enjoy her zoomies and her favourite hobby — proudly relocating every soft toy outdoors. She particularly loves soft, stuffed toys and is very food motivated. She has a lovely double coat and enjoys being brushed. Occasional professional grooming may help keep her coat in good condition. Erica is a loyal and loving young dog who will make a devoted companion in the right home.
