Jake

Jake approximately 3 years old medium sized male Cross-Breed. Jake is one of our longer-staying residents here in Cheshire. He’s only 3 years old and due to the pandemic didn’t experience much of the world around him and therefore can get easily overwhelmed causing him to react to strangers and surroundings, due to this Jake has been muzzle trained. Staff and volunteers have been helping him with new experiences and understand that ‘normal’ activity isn’t scary – his training is going really well and he has made a lot of progress. Jake loves playing with other dogs and with his toys and loves a fuss and cuddles once he gets to know you. Jake also loves his walks and sniffing around in the grass, stopping for treats along the way. Jake is now ready for his forever home, he will need the right person who will continue with his training, give him the time he needs to settle – with a little time and patience, Jake will blossom but he needs to be given a chance.
