Meet Sallie, the sweet little whirlwind with a huge heart. Sallie – 11 month old female Cross-Breed. Sallie is currently in foster in Coventry. She is a bright, loving young pup who is looking for a home that can give her the time, routine, and understanding she needs to grow into the wonderful dog she has the potential to be. She recently flew from Cyprus to her foster home and currently weighs around nineteen kilograms, expected to reach approximately twenty-three to twenty-five kilograms once fully grown. Sallie is a joyful mix of affection, cheekiness, and curiosity. Once she feels settled and knows her people, she becomes incredibly loving. She adores cuddling up on the sofa for her quiet moments and is very good at taking herself off to a peaceful corner when she wants a bit of downtime; her crate or the kitchen tub chairs are particular favourites. • A happy, lively pup who loves to play and explore. • Cheeky, full of life, and wonderfully inquisitive. • Enjoys her independence and will happily potter off for her own space. • Obsessed with stuffed toys—the noisier the better. Sallie is at that puppy stage where everything is new and exciting, and she’s eager to learn. She watches everything you do, takes direction well, and already knows sit and wait. She thrives with enrichment like stuffed Kongs, Licki mats, and snuffle mats—these help her self-soothe and learn calm behaviours. • Lead walking: Good on the lead, though she doesn’t like feeling restricted and may try to chew what’s near her. Road walking is still being introduced as she can be nervous. • Food manners: Excellent with humans—takes treats gently. She is currently fed separately from the resident dog as she settles into household routines. • Other dogs: Friendly but a little overenthusiastic in greetings. • People & children: Not kid-tested. Can be vocal with visitors and needs reassurance and guidance. Would be best suited to older, dog-savvy kids. • Cats/small furries: Not tested, likely too exciting for her at this stage. • Crate: Doing well with crate training. • A calm, experienced home ready for the excitement and fun of a young pup. • Someone able to offer structure, patience, routine, and ongoing training. • Potentially a calm male dog who would enjoy playing with her or a family able to spend time helping her settle. • A home ready for a puppy. She is a truly lovely girl who just needs the right environment to blossom. With consistency, reassurance, and understanding, Sallie has all the makings of a loyal, cuddly, playful, and wonderfully spirited companion. If you think you could be the one to help this sweet pup grow into her best self, Sallie would love to meet you.
