Meet beautiful Nova, a 7 year old female Pointer Cross with her frosty white face and signature “permanent sunglasses” look. Don’t be fooled by her style — she’s still full of pep, sass, and curiosity, proving that age is just a number (and fashion is forever). Nova was found in early December hiding in a pile of bushes with her four puppies, fiercely protecting them and hoping for a better life. Her puppies have moved on, and now it’s Nova’s turn to find the forever home she deserves. After six months in the pound, Nova is now thriving in a foster home. We suspect she spent years in a cramped hunter’s cage, producing litter after litter, so now she’s learning to enjoy her space, freedom, and peace. Nova’s favorite things include: • Hunting lizards like a little explorer • Playing with toys • Splashing in a paddling pool on warm days • Enjoying walks, tummy rubs, and outings to open-air cafés • Loving all her meals and treats She’s house-trained, has already mastered “sit,” and walks beautifully on a lead. Nova could live quite happily as an only pet. What Nova needs most is love, patience, and a comfy bed to call her own. She’s ready to trade her past for a peaceful retirement filled with belly rubs, gentle walks, and the joy of being someone’s best friend.
