This gorgeous, gentle boy is the definition of loyal — a true “Velcro dog” who forms incredibly strong bonds, especially with the women in his life. Jasper has been a cherished companion for over four years, and now he’s ready to start a new, peaceful chapter where he can finally relax and feel safe. Sensitive and affectionate, Jasper thrives in a stable, quiet environment. He’s fully house-trained, wonderful with other dogs (he’s even a regular at doggy daycare), and walks nicely on the lead — though that Pointer nose sometimes leads him on a mission after squirrels! He’s the perfect companion for someone who wants a devoted, loving dog always by their side. Jasper does have some separation anxiety, so he’ll need someone patient who can work with him gently and help him feel secure when left alone. He’s best suited to an adult-only household or one with older, considerate children who understand a dog’s need for space. Jasper has a history of Leishmaniasis, but don’t let that put you off — he’s in remission, off medication, and in good health.
