Bess

Bess is a six year old medium sized female crossbreed looking for an active home. Sadly her owner passed away and she’s not getting on with one of the other dogs she’s now living with. She’s a lively, energetic dog who certainly behaves much younger than 6! She is fine out and about walking past other dogs and would make an ideal companion for someone who is active and wants a walking buddy. She does pull a bit on the lead but we’d expect that to improve when she’s getting more exercise. She’s not keen on travelling in the car but can cope with it when necessary. She is looking for a home with experience of dogs as she does draw confidence from her handler and can be a little anxious at times. She is fine to be left for a few hours at a time but has been known to empty the bin if left for longer! As always we require everyone in the family and any children who are regularly going to be in contact with the dog to attend the meet. If you are suited we will then arrange a homecheck, vet reference and meet with the dog.
