Carrie is a 4-year-old female Cross-Breed. She is a large dog who will need space and guidance in her new home. While she has many positive qualities, she does have some challenges that her future owner must be prepared to work through. Carrie has the potential to live with other dogs, but only after successful introductions. She cannot live with children, and she cannot live with cats. This makes her best suited to an adult-only household that can provide her with the calm and consistency she needs. Carrie struggles with being left on her own, so she requires a home where someone is around most of the time. Her owner will need to gradually build up her confidence with being left for short periods, helping her feel secure and settled when alone. At the moment, Carrie is not toilet trained or crate trained. Her new owner will need to dedicate time and patience to these areas, using positive reinforcement and consistency to help her develop good habits. The effort put into this training will be essential for her long-term comfort and adjustment. On a positive note, Carrie travels well in the car. Once placed in a secure crate, she will settle down shortly into the ride, showing that with a structured environment she can relax. This makes outings and trips manageable for her and her owner.
