Roxy

Roxy is a 7 year old female Belgian Shepherd Malinois. Roxy came into our care with 3 other Malinois recently after their owner very sadly and unexpectedly passed away. Roxy is a beautiful girl who has settled into foster extremely well. She is currently fostered in the Worcestershire area along with two of the other dogs who she previously lived with. Roxy, like the others, has shown she has an extremely high level of obedience. She is crate trained, house trained and absolutely loves playing with balls. She is very people social, however, is also very handler focused and will ‘work’ around distractions with no issues. She is also good with children but would be best suited to children 8+ years due to her being quite bouncy at times! We were told by a family member of the owner that the other dogs regularly ganged up on Roxy and since being in our care she has shown that actually she’s not keen on other dogs and would much rather be the only dog in the home. Roxy walks amazingly on lead and will come back to ‘heel’ immediately when told (this is the fancy competition-style heel). She can be slightly reactive to other dogs if they are barking at her, however, if told to ‘heel’ and ‘leave it’ she will instantly.
