Cairo

Cairo is an 8 year old female Belgian Shepherd Malinois. Cairo recently came into our care with 3 other dogs after their owner very sadly and unexpectedly passed away. Cairo is a beautiful girl who has settled into foster extremely well. She is currently fostered in the Worcestershire area along with two of the other dogs who she previously lived with. Cairo, like the others, has shown she has an extremely high level of obedience. She is crate trained, house trained and absolutely loves playing with balls. Although her ball drive makes her incredibly easy to train, she can sometimes get a bit too enthusiastic and jump up to snatch the ball from you. When she is told ‘no’ and to ‘sit’ she does so straight away with little fuss. She is very people social, however, is also very handler focused and will ‘work’ around distractions with no issues. She is also good with children but would be best suited to children 8+ years due to her being quite bouncy at times! We were told by a family member of the owner that Cairo was the one that bossed the other dogs around in the home. She has been great with all of the other dogs she has met but would probably be best living with a male dog. Cairo walks amazingly on lead and will come back to ‘heel’ immediately when told. Overall Cairo is a very fun, loving and happy-go-lucky type of girl who would love to find an active home!
