Kalli

Kalli is a young, athletic crossbreed aged just over 1 year old with a loving and energetic nature. Kalli is very people-focused and forms strong bonds with her humans. She thrives on interaction and enjoys being close, often seeking reassurance and connection from those around her. She is an intelligent and eager-to-please dog who is already showing great potential. Kalli knows basic commands such as sit and wait and is continuing to learn, responding well to training, especially when food rewards are involved. Kalli is still very much a young dog and can become easily overstimulated, particularly around other dogs. She can struggle to regulate her excitement and may not always communicate appropriately, which can lead to misunderstandings. For this reason, she will need to be the only pet in the home while she continues to build confidence and develop her social skills. She walks well on the lead in calmer environments but can become strong and determined if something catches her attention. With consistent, one-to-one training, she is continuing to improve. Kalli can become bored if not mentally stimulated, so she will require enrichment and an active home that can meet both her physical and mental needs. She may also jump up when excited but is already learning that calm behaviour is rewarded. Kalli would suit a home that is committed to training, structure, and consistency. She will thrive with owners who understand how to guide a young, energetic dog and are willing to invest time into her development.
